Paisley Park

Paisley Park completed its construction and officially opened its doors to creatives in 1987. It was a sanctuary where Prince could and would create, record, and perform. After Prince’s death Paisley Park was turned into a museum in his honor. Tickets should be purchased in advance if you plan to go. This is definitely worth the visit if you can! It is a 35 minute drive from Downtown St. Paul or a $40 Uber/Lyft each way.

Stillwater, MN is a beautiful city located on the St. Croix River. One of Laurel’s favorite spots in Minnesota! Plan to spend a day walking around the downtown area for shopping, drinks, good food, beautiful views, and a river boat cruise. Stillwater is a 30 minute drive from Downtown St. Paul or a $35 Uber/Lyft each way.

Duluth & The North Shore

If you are able to extend your trip a couple of days, Duluth and the North Shore of Lake Superior are a must see!! Located about 3.5 hours north of the Twin Cities, a rental car will be required. Worth the adventure for those who love hiking, breweries, good food, and picturesque views. Contact Laurel for more specific recommendations— she lived there for 4 years and visits frequently!
