We met in our economics class at Round Rock High School, just down the street from where we will be married! Jordan's carefree attitude and my overzealous addiction to everything school-related led us to our senior year without knowing each other. Despite this, we became best friends immediately, spending all our time together in the summer of 2017. We quickly found ourselves in a long-distance relationship. Jordan enlisted in the Navy and was stationed in Spain, and I continued my education in San Antonio, TX. Through this time, we never lost love for each other and continued to grow together. We eventually moved into our first home together in Jacksonville, Florida the summer of 2021.

Jordan and I traveled home to Texas for a summer vacation. We were excited to have our families together for an Independence Day cookout and time by the lake at my parents' house in Granite Shoals, Texas. After tubing on the boat, enjoying some burgers, and chatting, we played a game of cornhole. I was throwing poorly when Jordan went behind me to pop the question! I was filled with joy, contentment, and love for everyone there. I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful moment, and Jordan was pleased he had pulled off a surprise. We cannot wait to share this joy with you all in Round Rock, Texas July 20, 2024!
