We had a blast on this AirBnb Experience that combines a tour of all the places that inspired JK Rowling to write her beloved series, along with the rich history of this wonderful city!
Visit the cafe where JK Rowling wrote the early Harry Potter novels!
Greyfriars Bobby was a Skye Terrier who became known in 19th-century Edinburgh for spending 14 years guarding the grave of his owner until he died himself on 14 January 1872. The story continues to be well known in Scotland, through several books and films. A prominent commemorative statue and nearby graves are a tourist attraction. Worth noting: while rubbing the toe of the Hume statue in Edinburgh is known for bringing students wisdom and luck, locals frown upon tourists rubbing the nose of their beloved mascot.
Iconic views of Edinburgh.
A very scenic hike within city limits. Fantastic views and not difficult at all.

Fantastic haggis and whiskey.
Great little fishing village the east coast of Edinburg with good pubs and the royal yacht used by the Queen.
Great fish and chips.
Known as the Royal Mile, this is the main tourist drag but still pretty cool to check out. And it's littered with pubs. This is the street that Ewan McGregor runs down at the beginning of Trainspotting.
Absolutely delicious food, and the first place Seth learned he liked haggis!
Incredible gin selection, great atmosphere, delicious bites as well!
