We recommend flying into Dublin Airport at least three days prior to the celebration to acclimate to the time difference if you're traveling from the U.S. Travel time from Dublin to Waterford is a 2.5 hour drive or bus ride, or 2 hour train ride from Dublin Heuston Station.

To get to Dublin Heuston train station from Dublin Airport, you'll need to book Dublin Airport Express bus tickets on irishrail.ie.

From Terminal 2 arrivals, follow the signs for busses down to the ground level. Turn left, staying on the same side as the airport. Take the walkway to the Bus Zones, JJ Kavanagh busses to Waterford City will be departing from Zone 16. Pre-booking bus tickets online is recommended to guarantee you seats. The Waterford bus stop is called Parnell Street. The Rapid Taxi Office is a short walk from the bus stop.
