FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what is outlined here, please reach out to us via email or text for clarification!
Question

Will I need to get tested/vaccinated to attend the wedding?

Answer

Yes! While this is a bit cumbersome, it is for the safety of all in attendance. The state guidelines require that for all guests ages 2+, a COVID test be completed with a negative result received (PCR testing valid for 72 hours within the event; antigen testing valid for 6 hours within the event). Fully vaccinated (latest dose 2 weeks before the date) individuals will fulfill this requirement. A phone app for displaying your results is discussed in the next item.

Question

How do I show my negative test result/vaccination status to the venue?

Answer

You can provide your vaccination card, present paper negative results, or you can provide an electronic image of your vaccination card or test results displayed on your smartphone! For those administered a vaccine or test in NYS, an efficient method is to download the NY Excelsior Pass app and have it displayed on your smartphone. Please find information on the app here: https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/excelsior-pass-frequently-asked-questions Alternatively, other apps (MyChart and related apps) are also accepted for electronic display. Please keep in mind that before your admission, the venue will also be collecting contact tracing information from each guest, if you have not already provided it.

Question

Will everyone be required to wear a mask?

Answer

Yes. For all attendees, masks will be required except for when eating or seated at your table.

Question

What are the recommendations for vendors?

Answer

If you will be staying with us throughout the entire event, the above health precautions apply to you, as well. You will need to submit your information to us for the health department (name, address, date of birth, phone number, email address) and you also will need to obtain a negative test result (within 72 hours for PCR and within 6 hours for antigen) or have proof of vaccination (latest dose 2 weeks before the date) in order to access the venue. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Is there a preference for submitting my RSVP?

Answer

Yes! Please reserve your attendance online so that you may provide the necessary contact tracing information for the health department. Thank you!

Question

Will the wedding be held outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour (weather permitting) will be outdoors. The wedding reception will be held indoors, but attendees will be free to move in and out of the venue as needed.

Question

Will dancing be allowed?

Answer

Yes! With masks, of course (see above). #loveinthetimeofCOVID19

Question

What is the virtual ceremony and reception for?

Answer

If you cannot attend the nuptials, we have arranged for you to view the wedding and reception ceremony and processional on this site! Please visit the Schedule tab to view, and please do not forget to update your RSVP!
