We originally met in June 2017.... We had talked for 6 months off and on and finally in December 2017 Laura agreed to go on a date with Heath. It was a cold, windy, winters evening. We had enjoyed dinner at a restaurant right on the water front in Tacoma. After dinner we decided to go ice skating at a little outdoor tent right on the waterfront. Both of us definitely weren't experts on ice skating, which made it twice as fun. Good news is no one fell down, however one person did get hurt..... lol As we were getting ready to leave, Laura was sitting at the benches taking her skates off, and a big gush of windy came bursting through the tent, which then made one of the benches come flying at Laura's left foot and leg! It landed right on her, which was so painful. She couldn't even move her foot, and that landed us a trip to the Emergency room! Heath drove Laura there, and we spent around 6 hours there! It was definitely a night that we will never forget! We had spent new years eve together at Heaths house, even though we wanted to go up to Seattle and spend it near the space needle, we couldn't do much since Laura was in crutches from the incident that happened on that first date. We then had our first dance & kiss to " Ed Sheeran (PERFECT)" as we were watching the count down on tv. It was truly magical, like the movies! lol We have pretty much been inseparable ever since! We have been together for a year now, and surprisingly on our wonderful trip to Leavenworth WA, with my best friend and cousin close by Heath asked for Laura's hand in marriage during a romantic sleighride . We plan to get married June 20th 2020 In Maui Hawaii along the beach. We would like a small, intimate wedding.

We will be getting married in Kihei Maui at Makena Cove Secret Beach in the evening hours before sunset.
