Emily and Lauren have been laughing together since Emily joined Lauren's class at Covenant in 7th grade. They became each other's cheerleaders and have shared so many sweet times, especially throughout high school. Emily is remarkably tender-hearted, and she radiates joy. If you haven't seen her art, you are missing out. Her intrinsic talent runs deep, and she has used it to touch so many lives. Her laugh is unforgettable, and she carries herself with grace. Some of Lauren's favorite memories with Emily include performing in school plays, Project Paint Drop, having lunch in "the promised land," cooking and dancing together in her kitchen, and visiting her on her beautiful college campus in Georgia!
Lucy Hughes

Lucy and Lauren have been friends since birth thanks to their moms meeting at work in 1999! They have shared a love of dance since they were tiny, especially clogging, and they competed together for several years. Lucy cares deeply for those she loves and is one of the most fun people to be around. Her immense creativity shines through in so many aspects of her life, including interior design, photography, art, and calligraphy. Her smile absolutely lights up a room, and she is the sweetest dog mom. Some of Lauren's favorite memories with Lucy include living room performances with Marshall, Orange Leaf runs, family trips to Galveston for dance nationals, car picnics at sunset, and dance conventions in Waco!
Amanda Hoshauer

Amanda and Lauren have been close ever since Amanda's family moved to Fort Worth and started at Covenant in 2011. Amanda is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. She is effortlessly altruistic, never thinking twice when it comes to serving others. She makes the best no-bake cookies ever, and is a constant source of encouragement. She is dependable, full of compassion, and always ready to do something new. Some of Lauren's favorite memories with Amanda include game nights with the Hoshauer family, Target and wall mural photo shoots, CCS volleyball games, Deer Lake, and getting to experience Abilene together!
Lacy Young

Lacy is Lauren's younger cousin and built-in best friend. They have grown up together always supporting each other, with Lacy going to Lauren's dance competitions and Lauren going to Lacy's volleyball games. Lacy is intelligent, so kind, and the best thrift shopper. She is always down for an adventure, and she consistently chooses to see the best in people. Her smile is absolutely contagious, and she gives her best effort with everything she does. Lauren's favorite memories with Lacy include hammocking on family vacations, Deer Lake, finding good spots to watch the sun set, hanging out at Mommom and Daddad's house, and cheering for her on the volleyball court!
Addie Townes

Addie is Lauren's younger cousin and another built-in best friend. She is just as beautiful inside as she is outside. She is one of the strongest people, and it has been a blessing to witness her overcome so much in the past seventeen years. She is talented in so many areas, particularly on the cheerleading squad. She is down to earth, but so much fun to laugh with. Some of Lauren's favorite memories with Addie include choreographing and performing dances for the rest of the family when they were little, going on a cruise to Mexico, hanging out at Nana and Pawpaw's house, feeding the chipmunks in Colorado, and swimming together in Lake Granbury!
Braden DeVargas

Braden has been close friends with Thomas since they were kids. Growing up they played Mario Kart, Minecraft, and other games together constantly. With Braden at school at Texas A&M and Thomas at Biola, this trend continued and has been their primary means of staying in touch. However, Braden accepted a position at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, so Thomas is very excited that they are once again in the same city.
Nate Fredricks

Nate is Thomas' cousin, and was in the same class as he and Lauren since they were kids. Nate and Thomas grew up around the corner from each other, and did everything from playing Pokemon together as kids to competing together in mock trial in high school. Nate is a graduate of the University of Texas and will be getting married to his fiancée Sloane July 1st.
Caleb Fredricks

Caleb is Thomas' cousin, and just a year younger. Growing up they enjoyed playing backyard football, playing Lego Indiana Jones, and laughing over Sunday family dinners. Today Caleb attends the University of Texas where he is the president of the BYX chapter.
Benjamin Minch

Ben and Thomas met through the honors program at Biola, and quickly became friends over a summer internship. They went on a couple trips together in college, going to Mexico one summer and Italy over spring break. They were roommates for their senior year of college, and now Ben is headed off to the University of Miami where he will be pursuing his PhD in Marine Biology.
Caleb Metts

Caleb and Thomas also met in the honors program at Biola, and became friends over playing Jackbox in a dorm lounge at Biola. Caleb and Thomas were roommates their senior year of college at Biola, and Caleb intends to become a veterinarian.
Hailee Aplin

Hailee and Lauren lived across the hall from each other freshman year of college and became friends the day that Hailee left a Sunny D outside Lauren's door. Hailee exhibits strength and competence every single day. She is always thinking ahead and is truly the "mom" friend that everyone needs. Her kindness and natural inclusivity to those around her are so admirable. And a hug from her after a long day is an immediate cheer-up. Some of Lauren's favorite memories with Hailee include sleepovers in Gardner when Hailee would drag her mattress across the hall, dancing to Mamma Mia! in Freshman Follies, pledging Delta Theta, being crippled at the same time together sophomore year, and countless drives to and from Abilene!
Marissa Wilks

Marissa and Lauren lived three doors down from each other in Gardner hall freshman year. They started hanging out during Wildcat Week because they were in the same Cornerstone class and haven't stopped since. Marissa is independent, yet patient and thoughtful. Her dedication is evident, she is a wonderful listener, and she offers gentle advice when requested. Her friendship and support are truly such a blessing. Plus, she absolutely kills it on the intramural volleyball and basketball courts. Some of Lauren's favorite memories with Marissa include sharing a room with her sophomore year, singing to Dan + Shay in the car, Sophomore Sing Song, watching Psych together, and camping in Abilene State Park!
Cassandra Frazier

Cassandra and Lauren's friendship also started week one of college, solidified when Cassandra invited Lauren to sit with her at the Jesse McCartney concert at ACU. Cassandra is remarkably loyal to those with whom she shares her life. Her desire to one day help young people as a counselor is touching, and it has been wonderful to see her grow her skills throughout college. Her sense of humor is one of the best things about her, and she uses it to uplift others. Some of Lauren's favorite memories with Cassandra include all the quality time spent on the floor of Gardner 208, boba tea after karaoke, pledging Delta Theta, glow stick dance parties, and photo shoots at the HSU Christmas lights!

Emily and Lauren met during sophomore year through pledging Delta Theta at ACU. Emily is constantly attentive of others and gives some of the sweetest encouragement you will ever receive. Her sense of style is impeccable and her taste in music is outstanding. She is in her element when curating playlists to fit specific moods and themes. She is also a talented Pilates instructor with an evident love for her work and her clients. Her energy and enthusiasm are abundant and infectious. Some of Lauren's favorite memories with Emily include smoothie runs after work outs at the Rec, Twilight movie marathons, going to concerts together, silent discos, and watching her thrive as a club officer for the last two years!

Lauren and Lauren W. met early in freshman year during Cornerstone class before they realized they were both nursing majors who would be spending quite a bit of time together throughout all of college. Lauren W. has a huge capacity for empathy and one of the biggest hearts. She has been Lauren's rock throughout nursing school and probably the only way she made it through. She is wise beyond her years and an excellent voice of reason. Some of Lauren's favorite memories with Lauren W. include spending time in her apartment with all her plants, singing in the car to our favorite musicals, practicing IVs on each other, Krua Thai lunches and Chick-fil-A breakfasts, and taking trips to visit each other in our hometowns!
