Kevin and LaShonda met after Kevin catered her birthday brunch! Ironically, they went to college together and had mutual friends but never seemed to cross paths. From the day LaShonda started speaking with Kevin about what she wanted on the menu, she knew something about him was intriguing--she wanted to learn more. The entire time they were talking business, LaShonda was plotting how she could get Kevin to make a move. She would come up with reasons to text him. While LaShonda had ulterior motives, Kevin was being friendly and kept it business professional. The day of the brunch, Kevin came and dropped off the food; LaShonda noticed he had his son in the car and offered to watch him while Kevin set up. It was then that Kevin saw LaShonda's nurturing spirit, not to mention how FINE she was looking in her birthday fit. In the end, LaShonda's birthday brunch ended up being on the house, and then after, her friends hyped her up to make a move since it didn't seem like Kevin was going to. She then called Kevin thanking him and asked if she could at least cook him dinner to show her appreciation. Kevin accepted! So as you can see, if LaShonda hadn't made that move, Kevin would have missed out on the BEST THING OF HIS LIFE!!!! The rest is history!
