Ashley has been Katie's best friend for over a decade. They met at church at the ages of 6 and 10, but really became close when they were teenagers. They moved together to the Bay Area in their early 20s, and were roommates for many years supporting each other through many changes. She and Katie have many special memories of holidays together, traveling to Ireland, and driving cross country.

Matt is Erik's brother in law now, but he's known Matt since he was a teenager. Matt and Erik's sister Monica were on the first trip we took as a couple in Peru. Matt is the family photographer and take a million photos to journal wherever we travel together. Erik would like you to know Matt is the funniest guy he knows.
Kelsie Shapiro

Kelsie is Katie's younger sister. She and Katie enjoy watching Disney movies together, going to try new cocktail bars, and listen to Taylor Swift in the car. She lives in Oregon with her two cats, Barney and Jasmine. Fun fact she also works at the same company as Katie.
Steven Shapiro

Steven is Katie's younger brother. They have always been close from tickle fights as kids to going to museums as adults. He lives in Oregon with his wife Halie and their 3 cats and dog. They love to go to fun vintage markets, weekend trips to Cannon Beach, and listening to live music.
Halie Shapiro

Halie is Katie's sister in law, and married to her brother Steven. When she and Katie met they bonded quickly over Kate Spade and reality TV. She is fluent in Spanish, and lived abroad in Spain.

Joe has been a friend for many years, and when Katie and Erik got together he and his wife Ali became their go to double date buddies. They enjoyed going to art strolls, friendsgivings, and now have virtual wine nights together.
