Narragansett Beach is one of our favorites! It's a great place to surf for beginners/intermediates. A wonderful flat beach for walking and relaxing. Other beaches recommendations: Scarborough Beach, Easton's Beach (Newport), Roger W Wheeler State Beach, and East Matunuck State Beach (Matunuck)

Sail away on the Block Island Ferry! Rent a bike for a day trip and tour around the island.

The Towers & Coast Guard House

The Tower's is an iconic historical structure in Narragansett. Tours are offered late morning and early afternoon. Coast Guard House is a historic restaurant that serves traditional New England Seafood with great views of Narragansett Bay.

Point Judith is a great surfing location for intermediate/advanced riders. It is also a wonderful spot for non-surfers to enjoy walking and beautiful ocean views.

Get a glimpse into the lavish lives of the Gilded Age elite through this unique collection of historic house museums. The Preservation Society of Newport County owns 11 properties that date from the mid-18th century to the Gilded Age, including The Breakers — an icon of Newport — Marble House, The Elms and Rosecliff. Seven of the houses are National Historic Landmarks.
