Growing up I looked up to my big sister and I wanted to be just like her. I even went through a "Tom Boy" phase and wanted to play basketball like her. I can't express how proud I am to see her achieving her dreams and not letting anything stop her. Over the past eight years I've watched her fall in love and grow with Cody. Let's be honest no one else could balance and challenge her more than Cody. I am so lucky to have an older sister and a soon to be brother-in-law. I'm now one step closer to being an Aunt!

Hello my name is Alex and I’m lara’s cousin. Lara is an amazing cousin and I’m so glad I got to grow up with her just 2 houses away from me. She is a loving and thoughtful person and will always be there for you whenever you need her. Cody has seen me grow up. He met me when I was just an annoying little bundle of joy(haha) he means a lot to me and I’m so happy he is going to be apart of the family now officially. I have learned so much from Lara and can’t wait to keep that going for the rest of our lives!

I'm Cody's cousin. My favorite memories of Lara and Cody are from their high school years. Lara has been part of the family for years and I'm so happy for her to be part of the family officially. I’m Tyler -a proud mom of 3 fur babies, Kodak, Felix, and Rufus. I am a graduate student working towards my dream of becoming a doctor. I grew up in Lake Havasu City where I developed my love for water sports and desert activities. When I’m not studying or working I spend my time hiking and swimming with my dog Kodak or off roading with my sisters. Bonding over our love for the medical field and our love for animals, Lara and I clicked almost immediately. Working together we were able to spend a lot of time together over a short period of time and it feels like we’ve been friends forever. Whether it be study dates, crazy shifts, or just a day of catching up our time together is always priceless. The 2 of us are cut from the same cloth. Lara is a friend that I try to be more like everyday and I am so grateful to call her a friend.

I met Cody, after my sister, Lara, started dating him. We connected through football and mutual friends. It was weird that he was my age and dating my older sister. I was a bit skeptical at first because he didn't say much for the first six months. Eventually, I got him talking and it turned out that he was actually a cool guy and now he's like a brother to me.

I met Cody back before kindergarten, we lived on the same street. We would always hangout playing sports or video games, until we got older and started skateboarding. We basically grew up together. I met Lara through Cody as we all would hangout after the lovely couple met. I forgot to mention, we all officially met as a group when we went on a mission to save the world in outer space.

What can I say? I’m a super blunt person with a big heart. You’ll never get a fake answer from me, or a sugar coated excuse for anything because that’s not how life is. I think I’m pretty adventurous and love to travel. Some day I want to do something totally insane like skydive, or bungee jump from a hot air balloon. On the less intense side, I also have dreams of visiting Thailand to volunteer to take care of elephants. Rainy days are my favorite. I could sit for hours cuddled up on the porch swing. I also enjoy just driving with no destination in mind listening to music. I met Lara and Cody through Renee a few years ago. Renee kept trying to set Lara and I up basically on a blind date so we could become friends. Since I’m not outgoing at all it took us a minute to actually talk, and now look at us. I’m excited to be apart of this amazing moment and can’t wait to see where these 2 go.

I met Cody at work for BPR about three years ago. Our friendship is more like we are brothers, we instantly clicked and Lara calls me his work wife because we talk on the phone everyday. One of the funniest moments was when Lara told Cody to act his age, go out and live a little instead of just working and doing homework. I do my best to drag him out to have fun and can't wait to celebrate with them. I can't wait to watch these two express their love and leave their mark on the world forever.
