Landon and Kaylee have known each other since middle school. Kaylee remembers going to the Falkville and Danville football game every year just to see Landon play. Although their junior high romance did not pan out, it could be said that it was always meant to be. In May of 2021, they ran into each other and reconnected. Landon went home that night and charged his old phone, which still had Kaylee's number from when they texted in junior high. Since then they have been inseparable.

Landon proposed to Kaylee on February 26th in Leipers Fork, Tennessee. Kaylee’s mother had mentioned coming here for her birthday, so she didn’t think much of it when they drove to Tennessee that Sunday. They walked down the street to look at the beautiful scenery in Leipers Fork. Then they rounded the corner and proceeded behind a building to a lovely gazebo. Landon’s parents emerged, and Kaylee realized this was it. Landon got down on one knee and proposed. It was the best day ever.
