Maid of Honor
She's the best sister this bride-to-be could ever ask for! Kayla spends her days with her man Erik and loving her two dragon babies. When she isn't doing that, she is serving people fun drinks and amazing food up at Pine Junction in Findley Lake, NY during the week and filling her weekends with Matt Mead (who happens to be the guy you see running around with the camera on our big day) doing wedding photography as she graduated from Penn State with a passion in photography. She was a shoe-in for this position, and we can't wait to share our day with her!
Best Man
The second man of the hour, the one who can take it waaaaaaay back and is always there for a good night of Super Smash Bros... Durner has been a best friend through meeting Mike in band and drum corps, specifically in the bass line as crazy drummers. The two of them share so many jokes to get through every hot and sunny rehearsal (6 years worth, that is) and play together on the Cleveland Browns Drumline. We can't wait to have Sean with us on our special Saturday in November! Sean will be coming to us all the way from Columbus, OH.
Bridesmaid
To be honest, Becca was afraid of her when she had jet black hair as a freshman at Penn State Altoona, and Becca even made her chai tea latte's from the dining commons and still didn't talk to her - yet they ended up transferring at the same time into the same major and ended up the best of friends and even ended up as roommates. SJ is a sweet, kind-hearted, caring, loving person who has seemingly loved Becca through thick and thin. She loves video games and streams regularly on Twitch and is an all time lover of cats - not to mention she can brighten any room with her smile (and that gorgeous firey hair!). We cant wait to share a few laughs with her on our special day as she travels to us from Atlanta, GA.
Groomsman
Christopher is another Brunswick Giant Eagle family member, and we are so glad that this establishment brought so many of the boys together. Chris and Mike have also known each other for many years from working together to just hanging out and having plenty of parties throughout the years. In Becca's opinion, she thinks that Chris is the only one who could wake Mike out of a dead sleep and be accepted with open arms and probably a smooch (including if she were to try). Chris and his girlfriend, Kayla will be coming up from Medina, OH to walk with us in our big day. We can't wait to celebrate with them!
Bridesmaid
Have you ever seen the video of two girls sprinting through the airport only to tackle each other to the ground as a greeting? That's Larissa and Becca. Oh, Larissa - Becca's best friend who was an instant connection who Becca only got to share one year short of her life with. Distance separates them, but time passes and doesn't allow them to miss a beat with each other. Whether it is Snapchat, texting, Facebook tagging, or Tweeting to Dan + Shay, they are still constantly connected no matter what. Larissa has given Becca some of her fondest memories, and we cannot wait for her presence to bring so much joy to our new favorite day. She is sure to bring no lack of energy and an endless supply of hugs along with her from near Grand Rapids, Michigan!
Groomsman
Dave is yet another member of the Brunswick Giant Eagle squad; as you can see that place was the factory of dreams for amazing friendships and even greater memories. He is truly the man of the hour for us in these past handful of months, as we went through a few life changes and some short notices mishaps, and he always welcomes us with open arms when we need a place to stay. Dave is the life of all parties, as he literally brings life to every party the group has and it always lands at his house, where even MORE memories are made. Dave and his girlfriend Alexis are coming to us from Brunswick, OH and will be sure to bring us amazing memories for our wedding.
Bridesmaid
Megan has always been that shoulder to cry on - she helped me through some of the hardest times of my life. Through 4 months in Germany, Megan was always there. Through long stressful nights in studio, Megan was always there. We tend to be each other's bad influence, as we feed off of each other's shopping habits, but it is our favorite girl time! Megan loves puppies, especially her own Bella, and is always willing to go above and beyond whatever needs to be done. Whether it was a night out on the town, or an entire weekend in on the couch under blankets with tons of snacks and Netflix, Meg was and always will be there right away. We cannot wait to have her for our big day as she joins us all the way from Texas!
Groomsman
This friendship bloomed many, many years ago at what some may say is the greatest supermarket in town (step aside, Whole Foods) - the Brunswick Giant Eagle. What started as just a simple job in their late teens turned into a life long friendship and bond over sports, beer, and mile marker 133 (you will hear that story at the wedding, I am sure). Josh can tell you anything you need to know about Cleveland sports history like it is written on the back of his hand, and we love him for always correcting us on it, too, no matter how many times he says he is "never wrong"! Josh is joining us from Medina, OH and we cannot wait to party with him in November.
Bridesmaid
To the girl who understands it all, the one who has seemingly been through it all, Natalie holds a special place in both of our hearts. Natalie and Becca have both been through hardships together at the same times, and have always helped each other along the way, no matter what the circumstances were. Natalie is truly one with nature and belongs in a field of wildflowers; she is a ray of sunshine and also brings light to any room she walks in. She is always so supportive and loves us unconditionally, and we cannot wait to have her with us on our special day as she makes the hike over from the Philadelphia area!
Groomsman
Tyler is near and dear to both of our hearts - and is also quite the asset to the bass line the Sean and Mike have always been a part of. As you can see, music runs deep through this extensive family and we share this passion with everyone! Mike and Tyler have also shared countless years in band together, always supporting each other while seeming to always push each other's buttons the best they could in the most loving way possible! Tyler's passion for music extends past his own participation, as he not only joins in with Rogue's Hollow Regiment, but also teaches percussion at Cloverleaf High School in Lodi, OH. We can't wait to have Byrdie join us on our very special day. Tyler will be joining us from Akron, OH!
Bridesmaid
Remember the two girls sprinting through the airport at each other? That's Emily and Becca, too. Emily is the girl Becca took under her wing from her first year of marching band all the way through their graduating years and through college - they have shared countless memories together. So many parades, Friday night football games followed up by a very nutritious meal from the local Sheetz, Saturday competitions, and random car rides to no destinations have given them so many stories to share and keep with them to reminisce on. Her sparkling personality will shine through the roof and remind us so much of all of the years we have spent growing into who we are today. We can't wait to have Em join us on our big day!
Groomsman
Another drummer family member, Ryan and Mike have drummed together for years through different ensembles. They have spent many summers playing bass drum together and teaching percussion for indoor groups as well as outdoor, even up to the pros with the other two who also drummed for the Cleveland Browns. We have had way too many nights of Barrio tacos or late night pizza with him, which definitely helped us achieve these wedding day bods. Ryan may be moving across the country, but he is excited to come back in November to join us for the big day. See you soon, Hardman!
Officiant
Alan Duncan is a great friend of ours who recently had a big day of his own! On that day, we were passing by him chatting with some other guests at his wedding and overheard him mention that he had always dreamed of being an officiant and would love to be the person who performs that special service for people he loves the most. That got us thinking...was he truly serious? Would he actually want to do that? Well - it turns out he did, and it super excited for us to be his first couple to wed! We thought it would be super special to have someone near and dear to us be the one who allowed us to exchange our vows and pass our rings, and that someone will be our dear friend Alan. He and his wife Jess will be coming from Brecksville, OH!
