"My favorite memory of Brett is when we had to drive to Florence and the entire car ride we sang Disney songs at the top of our lungs." -Taylor

Brett Landis

"My favorite memory of Taylor is coming home everyday and seeing her with our baby girl, nothing could be more memorable than that" -Brett

Leah Snellgrove

Maid of honor and sister of the bride

“My favorite memory of Taylor and I is when she called me, while I was in Virginia and told me that she just found out that she was pregnant. No one else knew at the time and although I was nervous at first, I was very excited. I couldn’t be any happier with the way things turned out for her, Brett and our family. “ -Leah

Eric Davis

Best Man

"The funniest memory that I have with Brett was...one night we were all over at my house cooking out and playing games in the back yard. We were all having a good time. All of a sudden I spotted a large grasshopper on the side of the house. I proceeded to go pick it up and place it on his shirt without him seeing me. When he finally saw it he froze, as if he was staring death in the face. He wouldn’t touch it or even attempt to swat it off of his shirt. To this day we still laugh about it." -Eric

Hannah Williams

“My favorite memory is the day we spent all day at the mall and made a build a bear that we would share custody of. Now Addilyn has full custody of Maxwell.” -Hannah

“My favorite memory of Taylor is our first year of college at Midlands Tech we had math class together. We would gossip every day during class and our teacher could not stand us. It got so bad she ended up separating us for a class.” -Cassie

Matthew Holmes

Groomsman

“The Time Taylor Almost Gave Birth at Jared It was a typical afternoon at Jared. We were standing in a circle planning our shift and sharing stories. One associate made a comment to which I responded. The whole group burst into laughter and I felt like king of the world. Taylor was on the floor laughing so hard that we all thought she was about to give birth. Later, we found out that someone in the circle had let one go and the only two people to hear it were that associate and Taylor. So much for my comedy career.” - Matthew

McKenzie Ouzts

Bridesmaid

“How about the time we stayed up all night at your house (one of the many) of course blasting GET LOW too many times then decided to sneak over to my boyfriend’s house EARLY in the morning only to see my mom driving in the neighborhood when she SPECIFICALLY TOLD ME NOT TO GO OVER TO HIS HOUSE. And we had to wait out in the bushes until the coast was clear.” -McKenzie

Curt Landis

Father of the Groom

“My favorite memory of Brett is when he bought his first car and we worked on it together for a week straight. I was so worried that he would get mad at me for as much as I cussed at the car. “ - Curt

Trey Tye

Ring Bearer

Addilyn Landis

Flower Girl and Daughter of the bride and groom

Amy Nine

Sister of the groom

If I had to pick one that makes me laugh just at the thought of it, it would be from my wedding weekend. It was the day after the wedding and we had been drinking most of the day, which of course made things funnier. Brett decided to introduce us to a game called Heads Up on his iPad. We played for awhile (still drinking throughout) and then decided to do teams where Brett and I paired up. We both acted out the clues simultaneously until we got to the best one. The clue was "sneaking out". I decided to commit 100% and began to "sneak out" of the kitchen of the beach house, with Brett right behind me. This caused an uproar of laughter (which I'm sure was overly obnoxious because of the alcohol). Either way, this is a memory I will never forget and will continue to laugh at. -Amy

Rob Horton

Officiant and Stepfather of the Groom

My favorite memory of Brett would have to be from the day I first met Patty. When I first drove to meet her in person. We had set our meeting up on a holiday when the children were in school. I arrived just after 9:00 a.m. and we spent a very pleasant day together. That afternoon, I went with her to pick Brett and Amy up from school, and we went to dinner. We were all seated in a booth enjoying our meal, when Brett looks me over and finally says "So, are you going to marry my mom?" I was at a bit of a loss for words for a moment, and finally sputtered a "Well, maybe. We'll see." response which seemed to satisfy him for the time being. Needless to say, I had not counted on having to answer to Brett regarding my intentions with his mother!

Plus I remember your Aunt Chryl always telling me your had such a contagious laugh. My favorite memory of Brett is the night he asked me for my blessing to marry my baby girl. He was so respectful that night of my feelings and is so in love with my baby girl. He promised to alway take you and now we have a beautiful new baby girl in the picture.” -Laura

Nancy Creasman

“I remember the look on Brett’s face when he had to come out of the hospital room and look up at your Dad and ask us to go wait in the waiting room. I don’t think he thought it was very funny, but we were amused and impressed by his bravery” -Nancy
