We’re Getting Married!

Round 1: Garrett and I met at Mt. Ararat Middle School. We spent most of 7th grade and all of 8th grade secretly holding hands during motor breaks and in the cafeteria booths at lunch. We even went to our 8th grade semi-formal dance together! At the start of 9th grade, Sara (regrettably) broke up with Garrett. Garrett avoided Sara for the remainder of highschool, but always stayed in touch for major events. After graduating high school, Garrett attended Maine Maritime Academy to become an engineer, and Sara started school at the University of Maine at Farmington to become a teacher. At this point we both had different significant others. Round 2: Fast forward to 2018, sophomore year, Garrett is now single, and Sara and her boyfriend break up suddenly. Because Garrett cleverly stayed in touch, he knew about the breakup and comforted Sara in this tough time. Garrett would bring drive from MMA all the way to UMF to spend only a few hours with Sara at a time. We would see each other back at home and on their way back to school, we would have iHop dates. But, Sara (again, regrettably) got back together with her ex. A move that she will never live down in the eyes of both Garrett and the Lamb family. Round 3: 2020, Both single, and ready to mingle, Garrett invites Sara to go with him to see the land he just bought in Eustis, ME. From there came a series of dates but the one that sealed the deal was a friends birthday party where they shared the last first kiss and Sara ate Garretts McDonalds Double Cheeseburger instead of her own dinner she ordered. Now in 2024 we own a home together, have bought our first fur baby named, Ridge, and we are very very excited to get married and celebrate with all of you! See you September 14th!
