Cabbage beach Public Access
To: Located right next to the beaches at Atlantis, the Cabbage Beach is open to the public and free to enter. It’s another beautiful beach option if you are staying outside of Atlantis/Comfort Suites.
Potters Cay
Great option for reasonably priced local eats! Walking distance from Paradise Island.
Seafront Sushi
Who doesn't love sushi? Another local spot if you want to eat away from the resort. Walking distance from Paradise Island.
Double Dragon Chinese Restaurant
If you want to take a break from all the seafood, the Double Dragon is a great (and affordable!) Chinese restaurant. If walking from Atlantis, it is about a 15 min walk over the bridge.
Poop Deck
Great option for local seafood!
Arawak Cay
Arawak Cay offers the authentic atmosphere of the Bahamian Fish Fry with vendors selling made to order conch salad, fried fish and other Bahamian dishes. Arawak Cay was artificially built from the sand when the harbour was dredged in 1969.
Baha Mar
Free art gallery, casino and flamingo zoo. Experience The Bahamas’ most iconic bird at Flamingo Cay, Baha Mar’s unique habitat designed to educate guests about these incredible animals and preserve their population. You can mingle with the flamingos at our daily parade starting at Flamingo Cay at 9:30 AM.
Historic Sites
Fort Charlotte: Historical fort with hand-carved limestone rooms and strategic military displays, providing panoramic views of the harbor. Showcases centuries of island history through educational exhibits. Queen's Staircase: Historical staircase carved by slaves, shrouded in lush tropical greenery, provides a reflective walk and unique views with local guides sharing poignant tales from the past.
Swimming Pigs!
The infamous swimming with pigs experience... also offered at Rose Island for a closer excursion.
