Norma and I go waaaay back that I lost count of the years. I have witnessed her grow up and raise her children, I watched her pull herself up and become the amazing mother, wife, daughter and Best Friend that she is today. I can not describe the honor I feel knowing she is on my corner always. Besides being my older brother, Brad has been my best friend since I was young. As a young teenager I would eagerly look forward to the weekends when I would go over to his houses throughout the years and play video games, eat Sals pizza, drink surge, blast music and listen to him play his guitars. He took me to my first concert, and we have been to countless others since. “Our multi-year plan to get Maggie in the family is coming to fruition! Don’t blow the last few months. Zeke and I met while opening Maple & Ash Chicago back in 2015. We got close over the years and now, I can't imagine not having him by my side on the most special day of my life. I can always trust him to NOT tell me I have something stuck in my teeth BEFORE making sure he takes a super embarrassing picture of me to blackmail me with later. "For over half-a-dozen years, Lady & I have been causing mischief around the country together. Our love for food and hospitality brought us together in 2015 while opening Maple & Ash Chicago and we've been inseparable since. I could not be more proud of the woman that Lady has become and the life that waits ahead of her. After all this time, there always seems to be plenty of mischief for Lady & I to manage." - Zeke Zeke y yo nos conocimos cuando abrimos Maple & Ash Chicago en 2015. Haii! I met Aya back in 2006 working at L'espalier in Boston. I moved to Chicago and called her one day when I was back home to hang out. Between jokes I mentioned we needed a pastry chef at the place I was working at in Chicago and that turned into her moving out to the windy city. The rest is history. “If you cry during the ceremony, I will dab your eyes and your head with a handkerchief and let everyone know that you were just sweaty” - Aya ¡Hai! Conocí a Aya en 2006 trabajando en L'espalier en Boston. Me mudé a Chicago y la llamé un día cuando estaba de regreso en Boston para pasar el rato. Entre bromas mencioné que necesitábamos un pastelero en el lugar donde yo trabajaba en Chicago y eso resultó en que ella se mudara a la ciudad de los vientos. El resto es historia, nos hicimos buenos amigos y fue obvio que ella fuera mi groomswoman. “Si lloras durante la ceremonia, te secaré los ojos y la cabeza con un pañuelo y les haré saber a todos que estabas sudando” - Aya
