After exchanging phone numbers a week prior, LaDawn and Xavier decided to meet up for dinner and drinks. They met at Santorini Estiatorio, where they talked and laughed for hours. They had a lovely time getting to know each other walking through the streets of Greektown.

Xavier planned a date night at one of LaDawn's favorite spots in the city, The Detroit Institue of Arts. After strolling aimlessly around the beautiful museum, Xavier noticed a cathedral exhibit, and the couple wandered towards the atrium. Unbeknownst to LaDawn, this was the predetermined area for the proposal and it was equipped with a camera to capture the moment. After telling LaDawn, why she's the "PB to his J", the "Flashdrive to his keyboard" Xavier got down on one knee, and she said "YES".
