Welcome to our celebration of our love!

We are the story of how two people weren't meant to meet each other until it was the perfect time. We were two kids in college who never met, despite being at many places at the same time, but didn't meet until 2018 at the home of a mutual friend for bible study and the rest is history! We were both "over" dating at the time and would always find a reason to hang out and eat sweets around Dallas. Somehow we looked up and we were exploring the city, going to church together, serving together, and always enjoying each other's company. LD always has to mention how I did not "like" him when we met, but he was very reserved and shy during our first meetings and I thought that he thought he was "too cool for school" LOL. We have had a quick progression into a family as we were expecting, planning our lives together and navigating through a pandemic but we were determined to celebrate our union with our friends and family when the timing was right. Though we married in 2019, I am so excited to be able to celebrate our union with friends and families like I have always dreamed! I cannot wait to see each and everyone of you all on Thursday, March 24th!

Our story picks up at LIT Bible study in early 2018. Despite going to colleges only a couple hours from each other (Baylor University and The University of Texas at Austin). We shared similar friends, and even being in the same rooms/ parties, but we never met each other. God saw fit to keep us hidden until we reached a level of closeness with Him. We started off as accountability partners and would visit many dessert places, restaurants, and random excursions throughout Dallas. Things progressed QUICKLY and God revealed to me that this was the woman that He had for me- the woman that I was to spend my life with. With that revelation I proposed and we married in the courthouse on August 31st, 2019. We had Brielle shortly after on October, 14th 2019 and had our start to our family. We are now looking forward to celebrating our love with our loved ones.
