The time is now

We met in the late summer of 2019. Friends and owners of the yoga fitness studio we both attended let slip to Brandon that Lacy was interested in him and thought he was cute. This was a white but fortuitous lie that caused Brandon to have the courage to pursue his interest in Lacy as he thought she was extremely beautiful and wanted to further a connection than just an acquaintance. In a spin class he noticed that she was wearing Chaco sandals to do spin. He asked her if it was adoable and comfortable to do such an activity in sandals. She responded that it was actually very pleasant and that he should try it sometime. The following week he showed up to class wearing his Teva sandals and proceeded to do spin next to her, she was still wearing her sandals just like the week before. Brandon’s next move was asking Lacy out on a date. He asked her 5 times before she agreed to a one on one date as she felt more comfortable in a group setting to hang out. Brandon’s persistence paid off and was able to get Lacy to agree to a simple meal with a bottle of wine after a Thursday night yoga class. At a local restaurant they indulged in wine and very beautiful conversation for almost 3 hours. Both agreed after this night in their minds that they wanted to see and hang out with the other person yet again. The rest is history. After being together for almost 4 and 1/2 years Brandon and Lacy now look to embark on their most exciting journey yet, the journey of a life together in marriage. We cannot wait to celebrate our special day with family, friends, and fellow good hearted souls who mean so much to us. #chacosandtevas
