We have known each other since we were in middle school, so it is hard to say exactly when we met. We shared many classes together throughout our younger years. At first we knew of each other but never hung out outside of school. High school rolled around and that is really when our friendship really grew. We would play video games together, hang out at each other's house, and walk around the school hallways to take photos for photography class; I considered Arie one of my close friends then. We graduated from high school, and as time went on, so does life and we slowly lost touch with one another. That is until one day I reached out to Arie to rekindle our friendship. Arie was thrilled and welcomed me back into his life and our friendship picked back up like no time had passed between us. We hung out almost daily from that moment, playing video games together and getting to know each other again as adults. As the weeks went on, our friendship began to evolve into a relationship. They say time flies when you're having fun and now it has been almost 10 years since we decided to "go steady".
