Guest Q & A

Question

What's going on?

Answer

With our Scottish ceremony now a cherished memory, we're ready to write the next chapter of our wedding celebration – the Happily Ever After Party! This event will be held on the Gold Coast on June 29th, 2024. Think of it as a traditional 'wedding reception', minus the ceremony – just the party! We can't wait to celebrate our love and create magical memories with our friends and family.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We trust you have already let us know if you can attend or not. RSVPs are now closed. Please contact us should you need to make any amendments.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have been allocated a +1, it will appear on your invite.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While some children will be invited, we kindly ask that others stay at home. We want all of our guests to have a wonderful time, and sometimes, adult-only events can allow for a more relaxed atmosphere. If you are unsure whether your child is invited, please refer to your invitation or reach out to us directly. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: We kindly request that guests wear cocktail dresses, LBDs (Little Black Dresses), dressy jumpsuits, or jackets and slacks. Please refrain from wearing white or similar shades (excluding dress shirts).

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Our Happily Ever After Party will be held in Winter on the Coast. Welcome to the Gold Coast (do we even really have a winter), all of you out-of-towners! We plan to utilise both indoor and outdoor spaces. At this time of year, the weather on the Gold Coast is typically mild and sunny during the day, with cooler temperatures at night. However, as with any location, weather can be unpredictable. We recommend checking the forecast leading up to the event and dressing accordingly. We will also have some indoor areas available in case of inclement weather. We want our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebration, rain or shine.

Question

Will food be served?

Answer

Absolutely! What's a good party without delicious food?

Question

What if I have dietary requirements/preferences?

Answer

There will be a dietary section on your RSVP. We will take the greatest care in providing food for everyone.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking near the entrance of the venue.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We plan to utilise both indoor and outdoor spaces. The outdoor space is still covered.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them.

Question

Can we share photos and videos to social media before the happy couple?

Answer

Absolutely! We want to spread our love near and far, so please feel free to share memories of the night as soon as you wish.

Question

Is there a gifts registry/wishing well?

Answer

While we truly do not wish or want for anything besides the presence of our guests, many of our loved ones have asked about gifting - so we wanted to make the process as seamless as possible. We've set up both a Love and Wishes Well at the venue and an online registry for your convenience. The registry can be found on the Registry tab of this website or by visiting the link: Lachlan & Teigan's Registry (https://www.easyregistry.com.au/Registry/Gifts/lachlan-teigan).

Question

Whom should I call with questions?

Answer

Please contact Lachlan or Teigan directly.
