We’re Tying The Knot!

The beginning of our story starts with Jess hiring Lace to babysit her dogs. When Lace arrived, they connected immediately over dreadlocks, tattoos, and their love for animals. It was a bestfriendship from the start (:

After months of talking nonstop every single day, we went to a local bar for a fun night out and realized there was something more there as we danced the night away. In August we ate out and Jess basically blurted out her feelings. A couple days later Lace asked Jess to be her first girlfriend!!

We signed for our first apartment together with two cats and a dog and all the love in the world. Too bad love couldnt keep us from the broken AC, broken kitchen appliances, and roach infestation... needless to say we clung to each other as we struggled through that lease.

We moved on to a larger apartment where we’d spent way too much time in during the quarantine. Here we rescued our new dog, who turned out to be the biggest challenge of our tenacity together. We knew we could make it through anything after his surgery, and on July 17th at 2 AM just talking about life, Jess proposed! <3

Now we find ourselves and our four kids so happy in our new place. This will be our home as we get married, continue growing in our careers, and continue dreaming of all the possibilities of life for years to come.
