Meet us in the Mountains

Kyra & John met sophomore year at La Salle University in art history class. One day after class John waited for Kyra outside the classroom to ask for her number because he was having a party later he wanted her to come to. Once they parted ways John's first text was admitting there was no party and he just wanted an excuse to get Kyra's number!

Kyra and John planned a trip to Virginia in July for a weekend away after Kyra had been prepping for her boards all summer. They stayed in the cutest Airbnb with a gorgeous view of the mountains in Massanutten. They decided to hike the Massanutten Ridge Trail, which is an intense hike involving lots of climbing and scrambling! Kyra was confused why John would not let her take a turn holding their shared bag or get anything out of it herself the whole way up. Once they got to the top the view was breathtaking and the hike was definitely worth it. John suggested setting up the tripod to take pictures, but instead placed it on video. He then got down on one knee and asked Kyra to spend forever together.
