Beautiful park south of downtown. Lovely Japanese and rose gardens. Take a picnic and a puppy and have the best day ever.

Manito Park

If you've rented a car, this is a great day trip. Beautiful lake to swim in and cute downtown with shops and restaurants. Befriend someone with a boat for an even better experience.

Coeur d'Alene

Pretty park on the Spokane river. Good for hiking, dog walking and picnics.

Bring your vest and laser gun. It's a riot.

If you're planning to make a bigger trip out of this and don't want to spend all of your time in Spokane, we don't blame you! Check out Glacier National Park in Montana! We've never been, but it's supposed to be AMAZING!
