Darrell proposed inside of the Biltmore Estate Gardens in Asheville, North Carolina.

Darrell and Kylie met in her hometown of Tampa, Florida two days after he moved there for work. Their first date was at Zukku sushi in February. They became a couple on March 7, 2021. Darrell moved back to Callahan three months after meeting for a much better job opportunity. Kylie told Darrell she was not going with him after only three months so, they set a deal. The deal was if they made it the full year together, she would relocate. They continued working hard at the long distance relationship until Kylie moved to Callahan in July 2022. They bought a home and are happily creating our life together. They share a love for hockey, good coffee and quality family time.
