We met through one of our matrimony homies, Kyle's oldest friend introduced us our sophomore year in High School. Savanna was smitten with Kyle before he even knew she existed. Kyle and Zach were on the Junior Varsity soccer together at school. Kyle lived in Cobleskill and Savanna in Middleburgh, two neighboring upstate New York villages. Kyle and Zach had a game at Middleburgh High School that Savanna happened to attend with her friend Morgan who was rooting for Zach. Naturally, Savanna wanted someone to root for so her first instinct was to root for Zach's best friend Kyle. A short while after that very soccer game Zach introduced Kyle to Savanna and the rest is history. They started as friends and the relationship blossomed into the classic high school love story. The best part about it was that Kyle and Savanna went to separate schools which made the time they spent together all the more precious. After they graduated high school class of 2017, people told them that with the distance of their separate colleges, they would never last. Yet again, Kyle and Savanna defied the odds and learned to love each other and cherish their time from a distance until they could live happily ever after. Now they are onto the next adventure. It was the day before Thanksgiving, and the excitement was palpable in the crisp autumn air. Savanna went about her usual routine, heading off to work, while Kyle was busy orchestrating a half-day surprise that would forever change their lives. As the clock ticked away, anticipation hung in the air. Kyle arrived to pick up Savanna, wearing a mischievous grin that hinted at something special in store. With a twinkle in his eye, he whisked her away to The Clark, an art institute nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Massachusetts. The drive there was a journey through their shared memories, reminiscing about the times they had visited The Clark, one of Savanna's cherished museums. The familiar surroundings only added to the enchantment of the day. But before they entered the world of art and beauty, Kyle led her outside to the tranquil ambiance of an infinity pool. In a heart-pounding moment, Kyle dropped down to one knee, the world around them seemingly standing still. Savanna turned around to find him there, a small box in his hand, and the words of a lifetime on his lips. He proposed, and in that very instant, Savanna knew her intuition had been right all along. In a delightful twist of fate, they both dropped to one knee simultaneously, a perfect mirror of their love and partnership. A surprised Kyle found himself at the receiving end of an unexpected proposal from Savanna. It's not your typical engagement story when both partners propose to each other at the same time. With smiles and laughter, they played a game of rock-paper-scissors, landing on the same symbol repeatedly. Deciding to open each other's ring boxes on the count of three, they embraced the unpredictable nature of their love story. Kyle checked his ring box multiple times to ensure it wasn't upside down, and they both opened their boxes simultaneously, only to discover they were both upside down. It was a perfectly imperfect Savanna and Kyle moment. In that extraordinary moment, amidst laughter and love, they exchanged heartfelt promises, pledging their love for a lifetime. With rings adorning their fingers and hearts intertwined, they looked forward to the adventure of their future together as an engaged couple, ready to embrace whatever comes their way.
