Once upon a time there were two best friends both expecting their second child. One friend was having the best son in the history of the world named Kyle in 1994. The other friend was having the best daughter in the history of the world named Niki in 1995. These two best friends, and children, spent many years together hanging out with their siblings and just living life. As time went on and life took its course the friends and children sadly drifted apart. Over the years the friends and children remained in contact and crossed paths from time to time. It wasn't until one of the siblings was getting married that the siblings and friends truly reconnected. That faithful February night would come to be one of the greatest nights of Kyle and Niki's lives. It was there, at that wedding, that Niki made Kyle go out on the dance floor and bust-a-move (as the kids say these days). At that moment, people began to question if Kyle and Niki had what it took to be the bestest friends forever. Roughly a week later, after those sweet dance moves, Kyle asked Niki to meet at Texas Roadhouse so he could ask her, in person, if she would go out with him. Texas Roadhouse was abnormally busy that night and too loud to hold a conversation so Kyle did what any logical person would do...waited until the next day to ask. When Kyle asked Niki out, Niki said yes. From that moment on, everyone pretty much knows that we be da bomb!

As the Trombley family normally goes on one family vacation per year (yes, we do take a few days off from work), Kyle saw this as the perfect opportunity to ask Niki to be his bestest friend forever. It was a team effort with all siblings contributing to key information that was needed from ring size & design to outfits & orchestrating the perfect cover-up. On the Trombley family vacation, of 2022, the plan was to surprise Craig & Kim with family pictures on the beach as an early anniversary gift. It started with a scavenger hunt for Craig & Kim that led them to the perfect spot on Old Orchard Beach with all of us waiting there for them. The family pictures went off according to the original plan; however, everyone but Niki knew the secret plan. As couples took their turns taking pictures one abnormal Charlies Angels pose was added in for everyone to do. Once Kyle & Niki took their pose the plan was executed and ended with Kyle on one knee, ring in hand, asking Niki if she would merry him. Thankfully...SHE SAID YES!

Life after the proposal has been hectic. Niki is now a Radiology student at HVCC and will be graduating in May of 2024! From full time clinicals, during the summer and winter breaks, to class time on campus along with clinicals and trying to spend time with family and friends she sure is busy! Kyle is working at Milton CAT 5-6 days a week along with helping the family business and trying to spend time with friends, he sure is busy! Wedding plans are trying to be done way ahead of schedule so as the day approaches there won't be much left to do. We are both very excited and can't wait to share our once in a lifetime day with everyone!
