Kyle and I both grew up in the small town of Holyoke, Colorado. I like to joke about our age difference in high school. I remind him I was not "cool enough" to be noticed by a "hot shot" senior...but here we are! Kyle and I competed at the NAIA basketball level, each at different schools in Nebraska. A couple years later, one could say he finally "noticed me" at church when we were both home visiting from Nebraska and Wisconsin. One thing led to another, and we could not be happier! Let's celebrate!

A last-minute supper plan with family at a secluded golf course near home turned into the moment I got to say yes! We enjoyed a classic Jack and Sprite in celebration of the moment. Cheers!
