We're getting married!

Ariel had always dreamed of visiting Hawaii. When she and Kyle talked about traveling and their plans for the future, it was number one on her list. Kyle reassured her that, "If we ever get to go, it will be to celebrate something very special." Fast forward to our second Christmas together. The pandemic was in full effect, halting travel and Ariel's hopes of visiting Hawaii. You can only imagine her surprise when Kyle told her he'd bought two round trip tickets! Six months later, we made the split decision to visit Hawaii over Ariel's summer vacation. We were beyond excited, but this meant Kyle only had two months to find her ring and create an epic itinerary! Kyle had come up with an amazing plan to hike an ocean-side cave and propose overlooking a breathtaking view... only to find out this cave housed the sacred remains of Hawaiian ancestors and was strictly off limits. After heeding warnings from locals to the area, Kyle had to come up with a brand new plan that same day! After snorkeling Sharks Cove on the North Shore of Oahu, Kyle asked Ariel to marry him, overlooking the ocean at sunset. It wasn't the original plan... but it was perfect.
