If you only get one chance to have NY pizza, you HAVE to try Saverio's Pizza in Massapequa! Our favorite is the "Alla vodka" pizza but the "Mom's with homemade mozzarella" is a close second! If you still have room for dessert, the "Angoletti with nutella and fluff" is delicious!
Best pizza under the brooklyn bridge and totally worth the wait as there is usually a line! Perfect place to have a quick bite while exploring brooklyn and taking a stroll on the brooklyn bridge. We recommend checking out the ice cream place on the pier down the street once you've had your fill!
If you like Shakespeare and 1920's fashion, check out Sleep No More! It's an interactive rendition of Macbeth in a 1920's film noir style. Wear comfortable shoes, you'll be exploring the set to find the actors as the play is happening. The actors use secret doors on set to lead the audience on a merry chase! The experience is one-of-a-kind and goes beyond your standard broadway show.
Check out the High Line if you have time for a stroll! It's an old NYC train railway that was converted into a park. If you're looking for fun NYC sights nearby, both the Chelsea Market and The Vessel are close.
If you have a sweet-tooth, you can't miss out on Spot Dessert Bar on historic Saint Marks. After thrifting at Search and Destroy or trying authentic szechuan at Mountain House, stop by this basement restaurant that serves dessert tapas style!
This iconic Italian-American bakery is a must try for cheesecake, pastries and coffee! It's an old school joint that has been around a long time for good reason! Bring some friends so you can sit-down and try a few different plates. We recommend the Cheesecake, Napoleon, Pignoli, and of course, Cannoli! If you like gelato and espresso, don't forget to have an Affragto while you're there.
