Isaac and I met officially on Instagram. I remembered Isaac from high school so I decided to add him and he immediately followed me back. We hadn’t really had a true conversation outside of “❤️ing” or “🔥ing” each others Instagram stories and posts. One day Isaac had posted a video story of himself dancing to a 90’s jam using the infamous Spirit Fingers! I couldn’t help myself but comment on the video! I remember thinking to myself, this is my type of man.. funny, not shy, loves to dance! We exchanged conversation and joked with each other for a month straight before we decided to meet up. October 13, 2020. I’ll never forget it. I wrote to him, adding to our long thread of conversation. “Happy Birthday!” and asked him what his plans were for his special day. When he told me he didn’t have any specific plans I immediately felt like I wanted to make his birthday some sort of special. So I invited him to hang out! I wanted to surprise him, so I stopped to grab a mini cake and balloons. We decided to meet up at a local park! I remember vividly, being super nervous but trying to paint myself calm and collected. I remember getting out of the car and pulling out the cake and balloons. I’ll never forget the big smile he had on his face as I handed them to him. We were having such a great time that we lost track of the time and before we knew it, we had cops knocking on my window checking our ids to make sure we weren’t “ax murderers.” Lol After a night of jokes, laughs, and enjoying each others company. I felt like I had known him FOREVER. We continued to hangout as friends until Isaac asked me to be his girlfriend on November 7, 2020. It was one of the easiest yeses ever! We were engaged on June 20, 2022 with our families there to celebrate with us. It was every bit of perfect! Isaac and I were married on July 5, 2022.
