The Wedding Website of Krystal Hammond and Noel Rodriguez
You've got questions? We've got answers! If you have any additional questions you can reach out to our wedding planner, Yamina Bermudez, by phone [998.283.3633] or email [weddings.drepm@dreamsresorts.com]
Question

When should I get my passport?

Answer

It takes minimum 3 months to renew/order a passport. You can order or renew your passport at your local post office. You can also renew online here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport/renew.html

Question

Can I stay at a different resort than Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort?

Answer

Our guest can stay at either Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort or Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort. These two resorts are "sister resorts" that neighbor each other. Majority of our guest and our ceremony will take place at "Dreams". Please note that any outside resorts are not an option, as both parties will be heavily fined for "outside guest".

Question

Do I need pesos, or should I bring American dollars from the U.S.?

Answer

Most resorts and cities accept U.S. dollars; however, it's likely that you will be charged more than if you paid in pesos. We recommend converting your U.S. dollars into pesos at a currency exchange. Be sure to call in advance to see if they have pesos for exchange.

Question

What will the weather be like in January?

Answer

January weather in the Cancún/Playa Mujeres Mexico area average at 81°F, rarely falling below 76°F or exceeding 85°F. No worries! We chose a date that is clear from hurricane season which ranges from July-October.

Question

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

Dress attire will be Beach Formal. This means suits or tuxes with slacks for men; and dresses or formal jumpsuits for women. Lighter blazer and dress fabrics are perfect for this occasion. Keep your eyes out for flexible slacks and shorter-length beachy dresses. We recommend packing either a maxi-dress or tea-length skirt to avoid looking too casual. Wedges, flats, and chunky sandals are acceptable for this situation. Please note that the cocktail hour will be on the beach after our ceremony.

Question

What happens after the wedding ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony we will be having a cocktail hour at the beach, and then returning back to the central garden for reception.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

All guest will be able to bring a +1. If you want to bring more than 1 guest please reach out to the Bride or Groom to coordinate.

Question

RSVP deadline?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP will be 11/18/22, as all final payments need to be in for booked packages. Please reach out to our travel agent Martha Galvez for discount pricing on your flight and stay. You can reach her by phone (773.929.8155) or email (martha@sunset-travel.com).
