Get Your Beers, it's been ten years!

A mutual friend Jared Quentin started bringing Mike around his group of friends which included Krystal. At Krystal’s 28th birthday party Mike showed up looking quite dapper. Mike struck up a conversation with Krystal and offered to buy her a birthday drink. She said yes not recognizing with whom she was speaking. Two nights later Krystal gets a text from Mike asking her for a haircut and offering alternative payments in the form of drinks or massages since he was thin on money. Krystal took him up on drinks which turned into an all night laugh fest shooting pool (Krystal pretending not to know how to play and letting Mike win), followed by watching their favorite Mel Brooks film Robinhood Men in Tights, quoting the entire film and then kicking Mike out of the house at 3 in the morning without a goodnight kiss (because she was playing coy). Two more days after that they were at a comedy music festival called Festival Supreme which wound up being an all day and night adventure and solidified they were dating. They made it official 10/18/13 and haven’t looked back!

On the night of Mike and Krystal’s 9 year dating anniversary Krystal came home from work with the expectation of going to hers and Mikes favorite sushi restaurant to celebrate. Their roommate (and Krystal’s best friend Emily) had left premade cocktails in the fridge with a note to take them upstairs to the rooftop for a romantic cheers. Once Mike and Krystal were up there they cheers and Mike got down on one knee and asked Krystal to marry him. To which she squealed” eeeee” bunny hopped over to him and finally said “yes”!
