Kyle and Cassie met in school. They were in the same grade but they did not actually say a word to each other until freshman year due to a mutual friend! (Thank goodness that happened) They quickly became each others best friends and had a solid friendship throughout high school. They joined the military together and it wasn't until after the two of them got back from basic training that they realized their relationship was more than just a friendship. It wasn't easy for them being just best friends and knowing for a few years that they wished it was more... but thank goodness Kyle got the courage and made the first move! They are each others rock in life and still each others best friends in which keeps their relationship fun and thriving!

Kyle can be shy at times and usually doesn't like to cause attention on himself, so whenever Cassie thought of how Kyle would propose to her, she always imagined it being a more reserved and quite act. She also knows him so well that she thought that she would unfortunately know when he was going to propose and not have that surprise factor that every woman dreams of. Cassie thought wrong! KYLE TOOK HER BREATHE AWAY when he proposed to her. Kyle invited a few family members to witness in what she thought was just an annual trip to their favorite pumpkin patch. Cassie left the pumpkin patch with a ring on her finger and her heart full and ready for their next adventure together!
