Grand Haven State Park
Our favorite beach! We also visited the Coast Guard Festival here on our 3rd date.
Grand Rapids Public Museum
Our first date was spent strolling through the streets of the old Grand Rapids exhibit and then playing in the "vintage" toys and games installation. We did everything from Giant Connect 4 to getting a new high score on the pinball machine in the arcade
Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park
Fantastic gardens and sculptures to wander through inside and out. We visited their amphitheater on our second date for one of their many outdoor concerts.
Grand Haven Musical Fountain
The Grand Haven Musical Fountain is a synchronized water and light show accompanied with music of all varieties. Each 20-minute show features a different theme. Each 25-30 minute show is free and plays nightly at dark from Memorial Day through Labor Day as well as Fridays and Saturdays in May.
Go for a Bike Ride Lakeside Trail
This paved and maintained bike path wraps around beautiful Spring Lake. The 15 mile bike path has public restrooms along the way at Central Park in Spring Lake, in Fruitport at Pamona Park, at William Ferry Park in Ferrysburg and at Rycenga Park just west of Spring Lake. Go Kayaking - Lakeshore Kayak Rental
Based in Grand Haven with trips running upstream 2x's daily and walk up rental service seven days a week. Knowledgeable & experienced staff will provide a customized trip for you and your family. The Grand River offers many options for exploration for any experience level. The four bayou's offer: fishing, eagle & deer sightings, exploration, parks for families & much more.
Grand Haven Boardwalk
The boardwalk is 2 1/2 miles and runs along the harbor, which is lined with shops, restaurants, marinas, and charter fishing boats. While it’s a great place for a brisk walk, there are plenty of grassy knolls and benches for idlers who prefer people and boat watching. The boardwalk continues along The Grand River and travels out to Lake Michigan where you can walk the pier and take photos of the lighthouse.
Lakeshore Trolley
The Lakeshore Trolley operates every day from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, and offers an around-town tour of Grand Haven, Spring Lake and Ferrysburg. A great activity for the entire family! Each summer from Memorial Day through Labor Day trolley rides are available to residents and visitors alike. The trolley is $1.50, which can be paid with exact change upon boarding or by purchasing a ticket online for your intended ride and showing your receipt to the driver. There is a discounted fare of $0.75 for persons 4-18 years old, 60+ years and older, and persons with a disability.

Crossroads Blueberry Market
Michigan blueberries are a summertime tradition that brings families and friends together. Crossroads Blueberry Market is a family owned business producing fresh Michigan Blueberries located in Grand Haven, MI. The farm produces a wide variety of Blueberries, supplying them with the perfect foundation for their fresh baked goods, seasonal fruits, and gourmet blueberry items. The in house bakery provides blueberry muffins, cookies, buckle, breads, and pie… baked fresh daily. They also have a full service Ice Cream Shop featuring frozen yogurt with a wide assortment of toppings, hand dipped Hudsonville Ice Cream, soft serve ice cream, flurries, shakes, and fruit smoothies. The market carries fresh Michigan blueberries and seasonal fruit. In addition, they provide an assortment of unique blueberry products, such as tea, coffee, syrups, jams, sauces and chocolates.

One of our favorite places to visit! Established in 1922, Fulton Street Market has connected farmers, food creators, and artists to the community for over 100 years! The market is open year-round and each season provides a diverse array of products, including fruits and veggies, dairy and meat, snacks and desserts, hot and prepared food, and handmade arts and crafts. May-October the market is open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 8am to 2pm
