As soon as you know for sure you will (or won’t) be able to attend, but definitely before August 23, 2023!
While we’re not going to kick you out if you show up in jeans and flip flops, we would like you all to take this opportunity to have fun and use this as an excuse to “dress up a little”.
The ceremony starts promptly at 2:00. Please don’t be late!!
There is ample and easy to locate parking at the church and hotel. No parking fees or designated parking spots! At the church, the first parking lot you will enter is the side of the church (the office and activity center, NOT where the ceremony is) please continue around to the larger parking area (where the water tower is). We will have greeters out front to help welcome/direct you.
Please keep all cameras and phones out of sight for the entirety of our ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer who we trust to capture all of the important moments of our special day, and we promise to share all of the photos with you afterwards.
The reception will be in the “Lakeview Ballroom” at the Hilton Charlotte University Place. Once you enter the lobby, continue straight to the escalator and take it down one level. There are also elevators you may use too on the left side of the lobby. The cocktail hour will be held outside on the patio area which you will be able to access once you enter the ballroom. In case of rain, cocktail hour will be held inside on the same level as the ballroom.
There will be an open bar during cocktail hour and after dinner is served. Passed canapés during cocktail hour. Dinner will be a buffet style and will be “heavy hors d’oeuvres”. Don’t forget to save a little room for cake!

The reception will be at a hotel, and we have reserved a group room block for our guests, please see the travel tab on the website for more details.
We are registered through Zola and Amazon. If you would like to send gifts ahead of time, please send them to the return address on your invitation. We will have a gift table at the reception (the hotel), please do not bring gifts into the church for the ceremony.
