JP is Grody's Brother in law, married to his sister Ellen. JP went from the guy that Gordy would annoy as a kid, in little brother fashion, to someone he looked up to. JP is one of the people Gordy knows he can always confide in throughout life.

Nick is the brother of Kristin. As Gordy has gotten to know Nick over the years, they have become close friends. Gordy knows he now has a devoted and stubborn friend he can always count on.

Travis is one of Grody's closest friends. Gordy knows that he can always count on Travis whether it is moving furniture, picking up Kristin when she is stranded in a parking lot to just being the straight shooter he is. Gordy knows there is no BS when it comes to their friendship and he appreciates that.

Gordy and Dan haven't know each other long. After meeting Dan, Grody knew that they could connect on many levels. They both put their family first and know how to make the people they love a priority. Not to mention they know how to have a good time together as well.
