Answer

The Nuptial Mass, where couples receive the Sacrament of Matrimony, is similar to any other Catholic Mass with the addition of a ritual for marriage. The Mass will be approximately 1 hour. Please give yourself extra time if you are driving to get through campus security, park, and walk to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart so you can be seated no later than 12:50pm. The Basilica will be open to guests starting at 12:30pm.

Parking

Welcome Party: The Eck Visitor's Center is right next to the Notre Dame Bookstore. You can park in the Notre Dame Bookstore lot (start on Notre Dame Ave, make the first left on Holy Cross Drive, and the bookstore parking lot will be on your right). However, we recommend using a rideshare service if you plan on enjoying a drink at our welcome party! Ceremony: There is free parking available on Notre Dame's campus behind the Basilica. If you are driving, start on Notre Dame Ave and make the first left onto Holy Cross Drive. Tell the attendant you are going to the Basilica for the Andrejko-Benedict wedding, and they will direct you to the A9 Lot behind the Basilica. If you're using google maps, type in "A9, Notre Dame, IN 46556", and that will direct you to the correct parking lot. Reception: The DoubleTree, Aloft, and Courtyard Marriott are each short (<3 minute) walk across the street to our reception venue, Palais Royale. If you choose to stay elsewhere, there should be plenty of Uber/Lyft options to drive you home from the reception safely.

Campus tour

If you are new to campus, or haven't been here in awhile, we encourage you to explore and enjoy campus before you head to the cocktail hour and reception at Palais Royale. Please feel welcome to meet on the steps of the Main Building (Golden Dome) at 2:30pm on Saturday as Kristin's friends, Morgan and Delaney, take guests on an optional tour of campus!
