We met at a local grocery store, " Publix Super Market at The Plaza Midtown," on Mother's Day weekend. As I came down the entrance steps on a mission to get my oldest sister a gift, there at the end of the steps was Officer JR Mesidor gazing and eager to assist me in any way he could! He asked for my number, and after one long phone call, the rest is history.

On Valentines Day, I left work early and frustrated but, little did I know Jean secretly had plans to turn my day around. I was at home in my quiet place, the bathroom, and there was a knock on the door. After the second knock followed, my son's voice saying, "Mom can you come out of the restroom," with nowhere else to hide, I came out, and to my surprise, there was Jean down on one knee, surrounded by six bouquets of roses, he summarized our relationship & love and asked me kindly the question, I said "YES," and we were engaged. We're excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Paris!

On this Day, We said, "I DO" before God, our fathers, and siblings, privately surrounded by love and support! We made it official, over the broom we go, as husband and wife. We all went to grab brunch at "Sun in My Belly" to celebrate over coffee & cream. Now we are steadily planning for a formal ceremony in Paris and a blissful honeymoon, Paris Bound May 2024.
