Two brides are better than one!

It was in the early morning of January 9, 2017 when Kristin and Lisa met. How could they forget? It was the first day of the Police Academy, a beautiful 7 degrees out... And, oh yeah, all while getting smoke grenades thrown at them by deranged old-timers. It was romantic. Lisa remembers seeing Kristin and thinking, "Well, at least I have some eye-candy." On the other hand, Kristin didn't even realize Lisa was there. Surprisingly, Lisa barely spoke. It didn't take much time for Kristin and Lisa to realize the deep connection they had for one another. What started off as friends, quickly became best friends, until it all changed. Their tangible connection was hard to go unnoticed. Kristin was fascinated by Lisa's unique mindset, her mysterious wisdom and kind soul. However, unbeknownst to Kristin, Lisa was adoring her boisterous humor, her ability to be herself and the kindness she showed to others. At the end of a long 5 months, it was finally time to graduate. Kristin was one of the first to walk across the stage. In order to capture that moment, Lisa stepped out of line and opened the stadium doors. While watching her future wife accomplish something so great, Lisa couldn't help but feel proud. Her classmates instantly teased her. But, without a beat, Lisa turned around, smiled and said, "I'm going to marry that girl." 7 years later, as life went on, they purchased a home together, birthed an adorable dog named Battle (Kristin's weird) and became a family. Life has changed. It has been difficult in so many ways. They have endured happiness and pain in life... but together; right by each other's side.
