Children are only allowed at the ceremony. The reception is for Adults 21 and over only.
No, we have rescheduled the wedding to July 20, 2021 and it is being held in Mykonos, due to travel restrictions that are likely to continue in France, and Greece announcing that it will open to Americans.
If you know now that you will unable to attend the wedding on July 20, 2021 or you are certain you will be there, feel free to RSVP now. RSVPs will be due by May 31, 2021.
Depends. Your spouse, fiancé or live-in partner, yes. We had to reduce the guest list due to Covid-19, so casual dates or non IG/FB official “partner/friend/whatever” won’t make the cut. Significant other of 6 months or more, preferably that the Bride & Groom have met, yes. Any questions, please ask.
You may. We recommend staying at the hotel as there are only 90 taxis on the entire Island. Mykonos town is 25 minutes from Elia Beach, where the Royal Myconian is located. We advise that you ensure you book directly through an airline with flexible change policies and the same for hotel or lodging accommodations. However, Greece has announced it will allow Americans to enter in May 2021!
Black tie. Tux for men and long gowns of any color, except white, ivory, off white, or anything approaching white, for women. Think glamour. It will be warm, so three piece tuxes for men provide the option of removing your jacket, but still remaining chic. Women, consider lighter breathable fabrics. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/black-tie-guide%3famp https://www.brides.com/story/black-tie-wedding-guest-dress-code-long-gowns https://pin.it/5kXnKq7
It’s going to be warm 80’s but WINDY! Mykonos is known for their wind. Light fabrics, flat & wedge sandals, cute kicks, bikinis & swim trunks! Linen. Check out the Pinterest board for style suggestions. https://pin.it/5GR08us
Not to enter Greece IF you’re vaccinated but YES to return to the US. Rapid antigen or PCR within 72 hours of boarding your flight OR proof you tested positive and recovered (negative test or doc clearance letter) within the last 90 days.
Greece requires approved Covid vaccination-last shot taken at least 2 weeks prior OR negative PCR only test within 72 hours of departure from US OR proof you had Covid within last 2-9 months and potentially negative test thereafter OR doctor’s letter clearing you to return to work/travel. Look online for updates. No quarantine. If vaccinated no negative test required to enter. France requires the same and Italy permits ONLY vaccinated Americans to enter Italy and skip quarantine OR proof of negative Covid test within 48 hours of departing flight to enter Italy, otherwise you must quarantine. Kids are exempt at various ages for each respective country.
To re-enter US: as of right now, you still must have a negative Covid (Antigen or PCR) test within 72 hours of your departure flight traveling back to US even if you’re vaccinated and even if you tested negative on the way out of the US. The only way around this is to show proof of your positive test and thereafter a negative test OR a doctors letter clearing you to return to work/travel. Look online at Secretary of State website and CDC website.
Maybe. UK yes, country specific rules apply based on where you are coming from, transiting through and going to—as well as if you’re an American. Look up the rules that apply to you, and your travel. If you’re nervous, get a test just in case.
