Temazcal's are one of the most traditional and special experiences you can have in this area! We have two options that Helen can assist with coordinating. OPTION 1: An authentic, traditional Temazcal with a Mayan Shaman in one of the communities close to Coba (about a 1-hour drive inland) with a cacao ceremony, Mayan oracle and a swim in a Cenote close by, as well as traditional food prepared by the people of the community there. This experience is about 3 hours. The tour includes transportation to/from the hotel and would be a whole day trip. OPTION 2: A Temazcal that is a bit closer in the Park of Dos Ojos (about a 20-minute drive depending on traffic). This experience is about 2 hours with a cenote swim afterwards. This is also a very nice option but only includes the Temazcal, transportation, and some snacks and water. This option might be best if you don't want to spend a whole day on this activity.
