Worth The Wait

Like “they” all say: “It’ll happen when you’re not looking for it.” Neither of us, at the time we met, thought that we would necessarily ever find “our person.” The second we met, we both knew. It didn’t take but 5 months before Kristen & Dean flew up to Connecticut to see Dean’s family and the commitment and certainty were confirmed. During a quick rest in our room for the weekend, Kristen said something sarcastically (shocking) to the affect of, “Prove it,” or “Put a ring on it.” Little did she know that Dean had just been waiting for the right moment.
