FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire (suits for men and cocktail dresses or evening gowns for women) in any color except Cabernet, white, and light pink.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15-20 minutes before two o’clock. This will allow you to find a seat and settle in before the bride arrives.

Question

What does the wedding day timeline look like?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2pm in Milltown and will be approximately 30 min long. The Palace is about 15-20 minutes from the church. Cocktail hour starts at 6pm, so feel free to check in to the hotel in between the ceremony and reception if you are staying at the hotel. If you live locally you will have time to go home and freshen up if needed. There will be plenty of time between the ceremony and reception, so no need to rush.

Question

If I am staying at the hotel how can I get to the venue?

Answer

There will be a shuttle that goes from the hotel to The Palace before the reception and at the end of the night will bring you from the venue to the hotel. There will be a schedule of the shuttle times in your welcome bag when you check into the hotel.

Question

If I am not staying at the hotel will there be parking at the The Palace?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of parking for all guests at the reception if you choose to drive. Please be careful though and don’t drink and drive. We want all of our guests to have fun and stay safe.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. We wish we could include all children but are unfortunately only able to invite immediate family.

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Please write on your RSVP if you have any restrictions or allergies we need to be aware of. You can also contact the bride or groom prior to the wedding and they will let the venue know. Also, feel free to let a staff member know at the reception just to be safe.
