Our wedding is taking place in Michigan City, Indiana near Lake Michigan. It is located approximately 60 miles/1h 15mins East of Chicago (and just below the state border of Michigan). For those of you driving in for the day, parking is plentiful at our venue. For those of you traveling from out of town or just staying for the weekend, below are tips for travel and accommodations. IMPORTANT: For those of you planning to stay in New Buffalo, Michigan, there is a 1-hour time change (switches to Eastern Time). Our venue in Michigan City, Indiana is still on Central Time, same as Chicago. House rentals are popular near Lake Michigan, so we encourage you to secure bookings as soon as possible. For those of you wishing to stay in hotels, we have provided a list of hotels to consider in the area (please note, these hotels will not open up bookings for June until after the New Year). Hotel concierges can organize taxi/car service to and from our venue, or take Uber/Lyft.
