We met at a mutual friends party, Krista walked through the door and Troy instantly knew he had to talk to her. She noticed him running around the party taking photos of everyone with his giant camera in his interesting looking flannel with fish all over it. We were paired next to one another in a game and didn't stop talking the for rest of the night. We quickly learned about one another's love for the outdoors, she proceeded to invite him to go hiking the next day thinking he probably wouldn't show up and low and behold he was there early ready to go. The rest is history.

Troy popped the question on a vacation to the Island of Hawaii. On a drive over to a black sand beach to see some turtles we took a detour to a place called South point. It is the most southern tip of the United States and a spectacular cliff view of the ocean and beautiful sunset. After a few moments of taking in the views Krista turns around to find him down on one knee. He proceeded to ask her and she yelled YES!
