Lots of food & colorful, elaborate outfits! Bring your dancing shoes, you're in for a great experience! Wedding starts with early morning with groom's baraat (see below), followed up the ceremony under a mandap. The provided programs will outline the details of key points of the ceremony and its significance.
Baraat is referring to the groom's arrival, which kicks off the celebrations! Groom makes a grand entry with family & friends dancing along the way. Bride's mother waits for their arrival to give a warm welcome. We encourage both families and friends to join the baraat! More the merrier!
This is standard Gujarati/Hindu wedding timeline. There will be a multi-hour break in the afternoon following the ceremony + lunch. Enjoy the beach (groom's preferred option), use resort amenities like kayaks, bikes, spa, etc or take a nap (bride's preferred option) then get ready in your evening outfits for cocktail hour and reception in the evening.
Parking is available at the venue/hotel for guests staying at the hotel. Hotel guests will be able to valet park (in/out). For off-site guests, there are public garages/lots nearby. Closest one is about .2 mile walk. Parking is not available at the resort for off-site guests. We encourage carpooling as October is peak season for the area. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is also an option.
