Carlsbad Windmill Food Hall (Located below our venue)!
Feeling hungry but can’t decide what to eat? Everyone in the group has different tastes? No problem! Just around the corner—no driving required. One room, 10+ vendors. Everyone’s happy. The Windmill Food Hall has great artisanal options, a cozy atmosphere, and relaxed activities: the perfect place to hang and refuel. Though we have only tried 1/3 of the vendors here we have loved each one we have tried!
South Carlsbad Beach (3 mi south)
Rugged cliffs, a remote beach with intimate areas. Ideal for walking and jogging in peace. A Carlsbad "family favorite".
Tamarak Beach (3 mi north)
Paved walking paths. Close dining at the Village. Plenty of Scuba diving, kayaking, fishing, or windsurfing. The place for action and has public restrooms.
So. Ponto Beach (3.5 mi south)
Captivating sunsets! Best beach for surfing. Wide and secluded with polished stones.
The Flower Fields
Open from 9am-6pm. You see this beautiful flower field from our wedding venue! The 55-acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch® in Carlsbad, California, are in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks each year – from early March through early May. This annual burst of color, which has become part of the area’s local heritage, also is one of nature’s official ways of announcing the arrival of spring here in Southern California!
Carlsbad Premium Outlets
Open from 10am-8pm on the weekends (Sundays at 11am), everyone loves a good outlet! If you know us you know that you would find us at the NIKE- though this may be the only Nike outlet we haven't hit. Don't worry there are PLENTY of other stores there if Nike isn't your jam.
Campfire Restaurant
Number one on Yelp, cute vibes and chill people. Tapas style that will leave you wanting more, Outdoor/indoor dining! "A return to the origins of cooking and hospitality, Campfire celebrates the spirit of our name as we gather around a fire, create honest food, and share it with friends." Closed on Tuesdays and open from 4pm-9pm.

Fresco Cocina is a Latin inspired restaurant located in the heart of Carlsbad Village serving a modern interpretation of latin cuisine. The menu rediscovers tradition and offers a selection of shareable plates and main courses all infused with Latin soul.
