September 16, 2017 - Tiffany flew from DC to LA for her friend Andrew Kress's 30th birthday party (which is also his dad's 60th and grandfather's 90th). She had met the ENTIRE Kress family... except one. Andrew's brother Kevin. After the party ended she caught him off guard as he was emptying a cooler full of ice. She confidently walked up and said, "I feel like a paleontologist that's been hunting dinosaur's her whole life and finally gets to meet one! Hi, I'm Tiffany". Obviously stunned by her beauty (okay, not really)... Obviously, stunned by her randomness, Kevin slowly replies, "RocketMan?" Yes! RocketMan! The 1997 umm... classic... movie that just so happened to be one of Tiffany and Kevin's family favorites (she had the inside scoop on that). So, Tiffany and Kevin hung out casually at the beach with a mix of east and west coast friends over the next few days and went their separate ways as new friends. BUT not before discovering they both still played Trivia Crack! This would later prove to be their main point of connection in the coming months. While there was no romantic interest at this point, a fast friendship had developed. Fast forward to June 2018 - Kevin is coming to the DC area for his brother Andrew's wedding. Tiffany and Kevin had been chatting a little more frequently and decide maybe there's a little more there. After reconnecting at the wedding, they went out on a limb and went on their first date on June 18, 2018. Over the next year and half, they crossed the country numerous times and kept investing in each other. In November 2019, Tiffany made the big move across the country after accepting a new job to be closer to Kevin. Then... CORONAVIRUS hit. A global pandemic that shut down the world but couldn't shut down love. On August 5, 2020, Kevin got down on one knee (after Tiffany's sister/bff/matron of honor kicked her out of the car on the side of the road in DC for the surprise) at Signer's Island and asked her to marry him! She said yes!
